Ubika Research issues a research bulletin on site visit tour of VG Gold Corp properties.TORONTO, Canada - Ubika Research has issued a special research bulletin on the site visit tour organized by VG Gold Corp. on September 17, 2009.
Ubika Research analyst Vikas Ranjan went on the site tour. The site visit was well attended, with brokers, analysts and investment professionals from various firms attending the tour. We observed the local infrastructure and geology, and inspected core from the ongoing exploration. The site visit included a tour of all major properties owned by VG Gold.
The site visit was particularly focused on examining the Paymaster property, which is the current target for the company's drilling plans.
The Paymaster West Property is located in the centre of the historic Timmins mining camp that has produced 68 million ounces of gold to date and borders Goldcorp's Dome Mine, which has current and past production totalling 17.1 million ounces of gold. At Paymaster, the company is targeting porphyry mineralization, which has proven to host excellent gold deposits based on past exploration results by other companies in the region. The company has completed the Phase I drilling at the Paymaster property, which resulted in excellent drill results.
We inspected the planned drill map and visited the proposed site at Paymaster property where the Phase II drilling will take place during the month of October. We are pleased with the progress so far and the site visit provided more assurance that the Phase II drilling is on track.
